Parables
"Thick As A Brick" - This album is considered a concept album by its authors. Its cover is a newspaper the "St. Cleve Chronicle." On the front page the lead story, "Thick As A Brick" is about the author of the poem entitled "Thick As A Brick." Apparently an eight year old lad "Gerald Bostock" was disqualified from a contest that he had won for an "extremely unwholesome attitude towards life, his God, and Country," as expressed in the poem 'story' he wrote. Also on the front page is an article where little Bostock is accused of being a little pervert who got his older girlfriend pregnant. She is pictured on the front cover pulling her dress up for the camera. Apparently she was a bad influence on him. In the story, Gerald's mother is quoted commenting about the girl, "It's disgusting. She's always been jealous of my Gerald."
A story to the Supra Conscious is a story told in reality. It is real. In this case, what is said
is this: A child "Mankind" had a Good prize winning story going for him, but some older female
pervert came along and perverted the little child, and then the child wound up getting into
trouble for his "Bad Story" and lost 'Everything'. Open: St.
Cleve Chronicle
